Google Penguin Update – Dropped from the face of Google and re-indexed on Google again

Made a comeback! Dropped from the face of Google and back (#1) for “Information Technology Blog” out of 1.3 BILLION RESULTS!

On May 11, 2012, We were given a one day warning, and basically the next day our website vanished from Google.

We advised that if this happened to you, the best way to overcome was to go with the flow and follow the Google Webmaster Guidelines.  Fix any questionable content, re-submit your site, and hope for the best! We went through our website and made sure we abided by webmaster rules and re-submitted via webmaster tools.  We consulted with several other colleagues and even Google employees trying to determine the reason as to why we were dropped.  We suspected a little bit of foul play (possibly a competing website reporting us as having spammy links http://support.google.com/webmasters/bin/answer.py?hl=en&answer=35265).  At the end of it all, we ultimately found ourselves at the mercy of Google’s algorithm.  We received no return answer from Google and became worried, however, penalties seem to have been eventually lifted.

  1. Google’s new algorithms suck!!!

  2. SEO Company Brisbane

If we follow the guidelines of Google properly, we will never get penalized by upcoming updates. Google has sent warning message to all before penalized.
